New Promotion Central Category Added

Date September 1, 2007

A new category was added to the site recently.

It’s fittingly called “Promotion Central”.

Use it as a type of “reminder” system for when you may want to consider running promotions at your store (if you already do not have a set schedule). The posts will usually be short, and will simply be ideas and reminders of upcoming events you may want to create special offers around.

After working with and talking to many small to mid level e-commerce businesses, I realized that one element which was consistently missing from their “marketing plan” was the ability to seek out and create promotional offers that generate new an repeat sales.

This critical element (being able to spot an opportunity, take advantage of it, and generate more sales from your store as a result) is only one piece of the puzzle toward increasing your sales, however, it is one that should never be overlooked.

No matter what type of online store you have, or what type of product you sell, you absolutely must create new, consistent, and unique offers which give your visitors reasons to buy your product(s). If you neglect this simple element, you can be sure of one thing — you are cheating yourself out of the opportunity to increase your sales.

So, grab a hold of this new category and keep it close. While you’re at it, subscribe to my feed so you don’t miss last minute ideas. If you’re not keeping up-to-date with it, you just might miss the opportunity to increase your sales when the time arises.
